Parks and Resorts locations shine in national spotlight
Delaware North Parks and Resorts locations operating in and around some of the most iconic national park destinations, including the Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountains and Yosemite National Park, garnered national media attention and recognition for their unique accommodations, dining and amenities.
Five locations were named to the U.S. News & World Report 2024 Best Resort & Hotel Rankings: The Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; Tenaya at Yosemite in Fish Camp, Calif.; The Squire at Grand Canyon, a Holiday Inn Resort in Tusayan, Ariz.; The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake in Geneva, Ohio; and The Westin Buffalo, in Buffalo, N.Y.
Tenaya at Yosemite, Delaware North’s full-service resort outside of Yosemite National Park, was featured in an in-depth article by Travel & Leisure, in addition to being name a 2024 Family Travel winner by Parents magazine and a 2025 Family Travel Award winner from Good Housekeeping magazine.
Yavapai Lodge and The Squire at Grand Canyon were featured by USA Today for their pet-friendly accommodations, in addition to a standalone article on MSN that highlighted The Squire. Camp Hale Weddings and Nova Guides, Delaware North’s unique offerings in Red Cliff, Colo., near Vail, was featured by online wedding and travel industry media outlet Destination I Do.

NASA Trailblazers exhibit debuts at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which Delaware North operates for NASA on Florida’s Space Coast, in March opened the NASA Trailblazers exhibit.
The exhibit celebrates pioneers of the space program and provides guests with an up-close look at the lives of astronauts and other NASA workers who broke social barriers and contributed to the advancement of the space program.
The Trailblazers exhibit, located within the Heroes & Legends building at the visitor complex, features a video element, allowing guests to select a trailblazer’s story to view on a large screen, while also rotating through the stories of other individuals.

The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake celebrates 20th anniversary
The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake in Ohio celebrated its 20th anniversary in May with an event featuring live music, culinary offerings and thoughtful speeches from Delaware North and Ashtabula County representatives. Delaware North has operated the lodge for the county since it opened.
The collaborative partnership between Delaware North and the county was identified as a key part of the lodge’s success and growth, positively impacting the local tourism industry.
Over the last 20 years, Delaware North has added 25 Cape Cod-style cottages and enhancements to the outdoor pool and recreation area, solidifying the lodge as a destination for family vacations, celebrations, meetings, weddings and more.

Tenaya at Yosemite debuts remodeled rooms and new guest amenities
Tenaya at Yosemite, Delaware North’s full-service resort located just outside of Yosemite National Park in California, completed a 244-room remodel and lobby renovation in its main lodge in July.
With design inspiration drawn from the Arts and Crafts Movement of the 1900s and the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the remodel creates a tranquil haven for guests featuring elegant furnishings, soft textures and a palette of soothing, earthy colors.
Tenaya also debuted new guest amenities, including a pickleball court, a bocce ball court, an 18-foot rock-climbing wall and dedicated play area, along with an increased number of park shuttles to complement its Yosemite 360 all-day tours.
AUGUST 2024
Parks and Resorts debuts ‘Spirits of Adventure’ cocktail menu and augmented reality experience
Delaware North’s Parks and Resorts division in August launched the “Spirits of Adventure” menu, featuring four specialty cocktails and transporting guests – through a combination of augmented reality (AR), flavor profiles and ingredients – to several iconic locations where Delaware North operates.
Available at 11 Delaware North locations through 2025, the passport-themed experience features the exclusive menu along with recommendations for sightseeing, shopping and accommodations at each destination. Guests also can scan a QR code for the AR component.
